Not a whole lot to report this week, except that we're making a very strong effort to stay organized and keep in mind everything we still need to do. We made a master list yesterday, which I'll post up here later, but it was good to see that there aren't too many big items left that we don't at least have some idea about.

Flowers are still a question mark. I'd really like to get them from Oak Hill Farm in Glen Ellen. They grow all of the flowers they use in their arrangements right there on the farm, and they've been recommended to us by several different sources, including Adri, who will be getting bulk flowers from them for her wedding in July (her cousin is doing the arrangements). The only trouble is, they're only open seasonally, and the flower lady doesn't come back until April, so I'm going to get some quotes from back up florists, just in case Oak Hill doesn't work out.

Yesterday we wandered around Park Slope (well, really, walked quickly with purpose, since it was very cold!) on wedding errands. We went into Paper Love to order invitations, but the owner/designer was away for the weekend. We have an appointment to meet with her and get it all squared away next Saturday. We also stopped into two jewelry stores to look at wedding bands and found some very nice options. I think I narrowed it down to two (one in each store, one much more expensive than the other...) that I like very much, and Elliott decided on simple shiny band and is still contemplating his choice of metal.

Bella informed me that I can in fact use Daniela as my Hebrew name, but I might want to consider adding an additional, perhaps more traditional, middle name. She suggested "naming myself" after a loved one, so I thought of my two grandmothers. I'll give it some more thought as Elliott and I put together the ceremony with her.

I also went through and updated our budget spreadsheat and was suprised to discover we're staying fairly close to our targets, both overall and item by item. We're certainly not UNDER, but we're doing well, as far as I'm concerned. Hopefully well enough to splurge on the pretty lanterns for the barrel room :-)

I think that's all for now. More next week!
